Victoria coach station to Gatwick airport
I took a coach from London Victoria to Gatwick airport a while back and as a 1st time experience with national express i gotta say I really enjoyed my journey. I booked in advance so that always speeds things up a bit , the coach was clean and comfortable, the driver was very friendly and courteous and so were the staff at Victoria coach station, wouldn't hesitate in using national express again , super well deserved 5* :)

Nice Bus Driver a few months ago
Its not often I think to write a positive review. But a few months ago my family were on the line from Birmingham towards Aberystwyth, and we've never had a bus driver more kind and helpful.

Sad times.
As a frequent flyer on National Express, I was rather sad to hear they won't be running for the foreseeable. Thoughts go out to Dai and Edward, and the other drivers I got to know on the 409. Hope all are well.

Brilliant People-Friendly Company
I should also like to congratulate National Express for their kindly people-friendly service both before and during this COVID 19 crisis. I have always had good experiences with them. When it became clear that there were air travel exclusions during January, I asked for a refund for transfer from London to Stansted, which I received within a couple of days. A very different story with the loathsome Ryanair which did not even allow me to change the flight, even though it was banned. Thank you, National Express, for your civility and customer care. NB National Express unlike Ryanair always reply to every posting.

Travelled from Brighton to Heathrow on Sunday morning. Kudos to the the driver who was extremely helpful and courteous. Very professional in maintaining the safety of all passengers.The only thing needed to improve was the temperature inside the bus. It was freezing even though I was wearing 4 layers of thick clothes. Felt bad for other old passengers.

1h delayed bus from Stansted Airport
I regularly use national express buses and they are usually fine. Recently, I got a 1h delayed bus from Stansted Airport to London. Absolutely no update from National express, even though they had my email and phone number. It appeared that the driver did not even know about the bus I originally booked, and I took the next one on the timetable.National express buses are slightly more expensive on the market, for an average/good service quality. But do not hesitate to check other companies (Green bus, etc...) which, so far, never gave me any bad surprise.

I travelled from Edinburgh to London on 26/12.Firstly I would like to say how grateful I am to National Express during this chaotic & confusing time of UK lockdown.My drivers ( Gavin & Robert) were so professional,helpful & friendly they took all the worry & confusion out of my trip - as I was quite anxious regarding finding my hotel once I’d arrived at Heathrow.Gavin & Robert helped me every step of the way!! I had to contact the call centre for a rebooking and refund
I had to contact the call centre for the second time in a week today due to COVID related travel problems. On each occasion the call centre employee was fantastic..friendly, understanding and extremely competent. My rebooking and refund requests were processed immediately. I cannot praise you enough and look forward to being able to book another coach journey soon. Thank you for being so understanding and helpful at such a stressful time.

Customer Service
I had made the mistake of booking my bus ticket for the following week and did not realize it until they were checking tickets! As soon as they realized my mistake, they took me straight to the tickets office, checked for available seats, changed my ticket and I was on the bus. Super friendly and efficient staff and very grateful they helped get on the bus I had intended to get!
