It's an airline
It's an airline. With that your going to have lost baggage, poor customer service and over all just a meh experience. I have flown with several airlines over the years and they all have the same issues.So what it comes down to is the perks. I like them because business class doesn't cost the same as a small used car and for the most part all of the flights I have been on were trouble free. I mean even on their worst day they are still better then spirit airlines.

lost suitcase…
We just got back from Las Vegas with a plane change in Houston. Southwest lost a suitcase on this changeover. Panic set in --everything was in that suitcase. let me tell you Southwest was amazing! I went to the baggage counter and they were efficient as well as very confident & pleasant. We received an incident report and telephone updates until we got the bag delivered to our home within 24 hours Thank You

Mindy was so helpful, patient, professional with us 3 seniors. She explained everything to us so well.Our next trip out of DIA, I am looking for Mindy @ the full service counter.

My wife has dementia and got to the airport a day early. They were just going to leave her out on the sidewalk before she could call me.I was more than willing to get whoever on the phone and pay for the price of a new ticket.But no they made me transfer money to her card so she could pay for it personally plus I might add she's in a wheelchair.This was at the Las Vegas airport.Walk away and leave a lady in a wheelchair on a curb before she can call me is bull.Southwest you can kiss my grits I'll put her on a bicycle before she flies your airlines again.I am giving three stars because finally after getting their money somebody did step up and help her and get her on a plane home.The guy working the curb on 10/31/21around 6:00 at night is a complete jerk in Las Vegas.

My husband and I got married on his…
My husband and I got married on his birthday of 5/24/2017. We flew to vegas on his birthday that year and have been using Southwest Airlines since then. It's smaller, easy to find your way through terminals, cleaner and staff so far has always been extremely pleasant. Love our DFW location.

Southwest Airlines Pilot
Today, on 08/22/20 Flight 1541 at 07:40am, a southwest pilot (never revealed his name) went above and beyond for a 12-year-old who was extremely terrified flying the first time by herself (yes, she thought she was brave enough to do it). The crew tried to calm her and she continuously screamed that she wanted to go home. One flight attendant held her hand, everyone tried to calm her, and the pilot apparently let her into the cockpit (prior to taxi away) to hopefully ease her fears. She eventually called down. The same pilot then proceeded to escort her off the plane, bought her breakfast from Chick-fil-A, and took her to her next gate! I can't even begin to express the gratitude. I would write a letter of appreciation to the CEO if I knew who he was...yes...I spoke with him while I was on facetime with her. Although I'm sure that the crew was probably at the brink of putting her off the plane, they comforted her and completed their flight. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. I love Southwest...always have!! ❤️

I flew with Southwest Airlines during July/August of 2020 in the middle of the pandemic. I have to say that the service I received was phenomenal. Of 4 flights (2 out, 2 returning), none were delayed and all were on the dime for boarding and arriving.I have never had this few problems with a flight. I don't know if it's due to reduced traffic, but I'm amazed. I have literally nothing to complain about. Will be flying southwest again, hopefully after all of this is over and there is a vacma'am!I feel like I should clarify - I scheduled and flew these flights after lockdowns were announced.

Cheap airlines and really good about changing flights. Its no frills (open seating, no first class, etc), but if you want inexpensive flights without the hassle of change fees they are the way to go

Southwest is and has always been the BEST airline to ever exist. They have *always* gone above and beyond for not only myself but my family members as well, even when they absolutely did not have to.
