Virgin Media Military Discount April 2024

Having access to Virgin was a key part of selecting a new house when we recently moved. The internet speed is fast and the tv recording system is intuitive and effective. Our service is always reliable and copes with lots of devices and streaming.My only issue is the difficulty sorting out billing. My plan changed and I added some features and despite multiple phone calls (and being on hold a long time) the bill has been wrong numerous times. Other than this the use and quality of the product is good.

So so I've been a Virgin customer for a very long time,call from Virgin customer services telling me that I need to change my price plan as I was on a very old price plan and if I didn't change they said I would get my phone cut off because it's a SIM only, event discussed about a price plan that was good for me wish I took and they also told me that I had roll over. I said I like the sound of it so let's go ahead as I'm working with my price plan I noticed that I had 80gb and I've got internet at home, so so I decided not to use my 80gb for a month considering I was told that I've got roll over so when it was time for my price plan to be resetted at the end of the month I saw the same amount of data that I had before which I do not think that is fair. I called up Virgin customer services and ask them why hasn't my data rolled over customer service then turn around and said to me if I don't use my data from the previous month I do not get rollover, I then told the customer service that its false information that you are tellin your customers as if you've got rollover you're supposed to keep your data and it goes to the following month as far as I know. She then explains me how Virgin does it I then put to her that if I was with another mobile provider customer any data that I save rolls over to the next month but the difference between other and Virgin is, the other says you can keep your data where as Virgin doesn't say that which I think Virgin to make it more clearer in what they are selling to their customers.

Everyone here is saying that the customer service is bad apparently, but honestly I disagree. And before I start, I am not biased at all. I am yet to apply to buy 2 phones from them. I don't know if I'll be accepted or not. I hope i do. However, the customer service was amazing. I spoke to a kind girl called Angela on chat. She was so kind, patient with me even though I talk a lot. She was also very helpful and had fast replies. I just hope my order is processed but still I believe that virgin medias customer service is up to standard in my eyes atleast. :) Keep it up guys !

The broadband hardly stops working. The Virgin TV Go channels doesn't freeze.

just had a conversation about my virgin tv package with a lady named Debbie who was one of the most kindest understanding person have ever spoken to at virgin media she had all the knowledge and advice I needed to change my tv package she is a credit to virgin media this was on the 2nd December 2019 at 5.15 pm

Virgin make money through bundles, and any separate services cost a fortune.I'm annoyed freedom of choice is removed to shop elsewhere. Especially when you live in an area where tv antenna is too poor. Virgin broadband speeds are one of the best if not the best, but that with a competitor for tv doesn't work out financially viable. Virgin know this and package bundles accordingly. They also have uncompetitive single service packages, and whopping exit contract fees.Not a great deal of flexibility.So consumers think wisely as new customer deals climb hugely after year one and again options reduce and former packages are made very quickly obsolete

This review is not for Virgin, it is for one of their managers called Jarvis Jarvis. After two years of complaining about broadband issue and having carried out multiple tests, making various changes and listening to a 1000 excuses, I was put through to Jarvis who solved the problem in less than an hour. Thank you so much Jarvis, I hope Virgin appreciates your service.

I completed an online review following a call with Virgin to reduce my monthly payments as some of the services were just not being used. Basically, I wasn’t watching their movies channels so wanted to remove it and save some money. I was told by the sales girl that the movies was linked to the sports package and if I removed the one I had to lose the other. This was disappointing so I made it clear in the online questionnaire. Two days later I got a call asking why I gave negative feed back and upon explaining I was offered the removal of the movies as I initially requested or I could keep it if I signed up for another 12 months And they offered to reduce the monthly bill by 25%. Good follow up. Good customer service as I got what I wanted in the end as I was going to renew it for 12 months in any case. I recommend completing the online feedback. Seems someone’s listening at long last.

Fastest broadband in the UK, slowest bunch of support advisors. I'd like to see some of the money I spend being invested into the UK. Maybe with more UK support advisors you could claw some reputation back. Despite being very happy with my service, I agree that the Support and Collections teams are a nightmare to behold without Google translate on the line. No problem with India, but unless my broadband originates there I would like to speak to someone in the UK who speaks understandable English.

I've been with Virgin Media (just internet) for quite a few years. The other providers just didnt offer anywhere near their internet speed. I must have been a lucky one, judging by the other reviews here. I rarely ever have a problem, they answer the phone quickly, and they always offer me a good deal to stay.
